Transfer of Land for Health Center
This item is on Tuesday’s agenda. Thanks to Les Landen and Sara Mills for working with the staff of the health center to effectuate the transfer of the Taft School property to the health center for the new building. As you recall, this nearly $7Million structure will benefit the entire community by providing a higher level of health care for all residents, including those not able to afford market rate health services. At the same time, the afterhours care at the new facility will assist Atrium Medical Center by decreasing the demand at the Emergency Room which will in turn assist our fire department by reducing unnecessary runs to the ER.
