Hi John,
Thanks so much for posting the video!!
I just wanted to add some information to it--Wayne Johnson is from San Deigo, CA where he lives with his wife and son. He is a Taylor clinician and is also lead guitarist with Manhattan Transfer. He'll be in the Northeast with MT soon. He's done many solo gigs--including his Wayne Johnson Trio. One interesting side note--Wayne practices using Andre Segovia's practice methods. If you haven't heard his work--it's worth a listen. As talented as he is, he's just a great guy!!
Deb and Don Rumford were just great during the making (and continue to be great friends) of the video. We wanted to be creative and I gave Don the go ahead to dazzle me with his talents. And he did!!! The special effects added to the video was a genius as well as the many different fades and angles. (Sorry--don't know all the technical lingo! ;-) Both Deb and Don are the sweetest people!!!
The project was fun to do, from painting all the original oil paintings to shooting and holding the release party. A local collector has purchased one of the paintings (sea otter) and is proudly displaying the painting in his home collection. It was quite an honor to be hanging in their home next to some fantastic artists!
John--thanks for presenting a positive view of Middletown. Let me know if I can help in any way. When the positive energy starts to flow--it is amazing what can be accomplished.
Peace
