An air conditioner was stripped off its copper, the kitchen sink was damaged and other plumbing was removed from a residence in the 600 block of Richardson Drive.
Someone stole a laptop computer and a Papa John’s car topper from a vehicle that was parked in the 2900 block of North Verity Parkway.
Someone took a man’s wallet and $20 from a residence in the 100 block of North Grimes Street. The man told police he suspected his ex-girlfriend.
While a man was in the MidPointe Library in Middletown, someone took his cellphone, iPod and two packs of cigarettes out of his 1997 Toyota Camry. He told police he left his window down and he was in the library for about an hour.
Oct. 23
A 46-inch flat-screen TV, valued at $1,200, and 20 rifles and handguns were stolen from a residence in the 4800 block of Oxford State Road. The resident said he locked the doors, but when he returned home, the doors were unlocked and there were no signs of forced entry.
A man said a diamond cross, valued at $360, was stolen off his porch after the package was delivered by UPS. He said he purchased the jewelry at Kay’s Jewelers.
A man and a woman who live in the 1300 block of Fairmount Avenue were charged with assault after police found them fighting in their residence. Police said the man and woman both had cuts and bruises on their faces. They told police they had been drinking. A 13-year-old who lived with them was picked up by his grandmother.
