Just recieved a phone call from a gentlemen with a heavy accent possibly Indian that claimed he was with a company that employed Microsoft software engineers and that my PCs registry was sending out errors over the internet and he tried to talk me into letting him walk me through doing somethings on my PC so he could check out my PC and make sure it was ok etc..I thought he probably was trying to obtain my IP address so he could hack me possibly.

I didnt give him any info but I did tell him that if he gave me a number I would call him back,he insisted that if I let him get what he needed to check out my PC that it would be free and if I called them back it would cost me 2.00 a minute LOL LOL the number he gave me to call back was ED 00-642-7676 the number that showed up on my caller ID was 567567 just says number can not be completed.

This guy would be pretty convincing to a person(s) that didnt have any knowledge of computers just beware and maybe pass along this info.
