"We are asking the taxpayers to become informed voters," said Dr. Price at recent Middletown, Ohio school board meeting after the levy failed on the May 07 Ballot.

Hear two taxpayers discuss ways for the levy to pass such as raising test scores and separating the renewal property tax levy from the additional levy money.

Seems like some good points were raised in this video.

Nick Kidd (the first citizen speaking) always tells it like it is and he seems to come with cold hard facts, well-researched and prepared to back them up. I'm not sure who the second speaker is but he also make a very valid and obvious point. Stubbornness is what made this levy fail, and if they continue on the same route it may turn out that way again in August. Nobody has any doubts that a continuance would pass, it's only the increase that causes controversy.

Nick Kidd raises many good points, but he never sees the good in either the schools or city government.

I believe Dr Price when he says the schools have made continuous improvement.

I can sympathise with Mr. Kidd, but he would be more effective if he was more balanced when he expresses his view point.
