So, the buildings that the taxpayers in the city bought from Thatcher weren't good enough for CS nor HEP. They want to pick the buildings and have the city foot the bill.

Kinda like the mom, dad and little junior in Toys Are Us going down the aisle with the kid pointing to the toys he wants for Christmas and old mom and dad getting out the wallet and laying down the cash at the checkout.

I can just see it now.......Judith and Lawrence following old O'Dell whats-his-name down Central Ave. with O'Dell pointing to the buildings he wants for HIS campus and Judith and Lawrence, like mom and dad, reaching for the wallet to retrieve the loan money to pay for it.

Ain't the downtown scheme grand???

Then, when CS decides to leave, the hand selected buildings aren't needed and it ain't workin' out for them, the city will be in deeper in the real estate business with a loan to pay and no takers for the buildings O'Dell chose. Got that now with the Thatcher residuals. Absolutely no risk on CS's part and maximum risk for the city. Good plan. When is CS going to contribute to this? How much longer is the city going to pick up the tab for this and where does HEP fit in in all this?
I'm so proud of my hometown and what it has become. Recall 'em all. Let's start over.
