Job Post: Entry Level Computer Network Engineer

Job Description: Implements and supports Network, and Video Surveillance Servers, PC, Tablet, terminals and Smartphone hardware. Evaluates, installs and supports clients on site and remotely. Supports and participates in the company social networking initiatives.

Education: Bachelor's or associate's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or telecommunications.

Certification: MCSE Preferred

Professional Requirements: Must have good verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft products including Window Network and Office Professional. Must have a professional appearance. Clear drivers license with no major moving violations.

Technical Requirements:
Knowledge of operating systems and device drivers.
Knowledge of common applications such as anti-virus and email.
Knowledge of relevant hardware standards such as IDE and SATA.
Knowledge of peripherals such as printers, tape backup and scanners.
Familiarity with RAID disk technologies.
Familiarity with basic network infrastructure.
Familiarity with Backup software and strategies.
Knowledge of communications equipment such as modems, routers and switches.
Knowledge and participation in social websites such as Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Digg and StumbleUpon.

Tasks:
Identify the source of PC and server faults.
Replace faulty hardware as required.
Install and upgrade new hardware and device drivers.
Install and support common applications such as anti-virus software.
Support peripherals such as printers, scanners, tape backup devices and modems.
Troubleshoot application problems.
Specify hardware specifications for clients such as RAM, Disk Space, CPU and Video Card capacity.
Liaise with hardware vendors.
Configure operating system settings as required by the client (firewalls, local user permissions, automatic updates)

Full Time Position with HSA, Company Sponsored IRA, Vacation Pay and more.
Hours: 8 to 5 or 10 to 7, varies as needed.

Salary: Negotiable and competitive.
