The Monroe Board of Education will accept students in grades 9-12
living outside the Monroe Local School District for Open Enrollment for
the school year 2008/2009. Applications will be available in the Monroe
Local Schools Board Office beginning April 1, 2008 and continuing
through May 30, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Applications
must be picked up and returned in person. No application received by
mail will be accepted. The Monroe Local Schools Board Office is located
at 231 Macready Avenue, behind the Monroe Primary Building.                                                  http://www.monroelocalschools.com/

	Monroe has a very good school system and I would recommend it to anyone. The one thing that you should know is Monroe offers transportation for Middletown students. They have several locations where they will pick your child up and drop off. Its a good deal for those who were looking to send your kid to Fenwick or Middletown Christian but can not afford it.
