Dr. Stevie is interviewing for the supers job in Newark Ohio today. Having lived there from 1979 to 1984, I can tell you that Newark is alot like Middletown in that it is a blue collar town with about the same population - ie 50,000+. They could be sister cities they are so similar. These are hard working no nonsense people that will quickly react negatively if Price takes some if his Middletown performance and applies it to the Newark school system. He will repeat the experience he had in Middletown in the Newark schools if he is selected which doesn't bode well for the Newark folks. If selected, it will be interesting to see how he fairs in a few years with community opinion versus the Middletown opinion. I'm betting they may be the same after they get to know how Price operates. As has been said before, the problem supers just keep flying around as they try to land somewhere to do their business. This is why they need a tracking system nation-wide for school systems to research incoming candidates and their track records.
