On April 8th, 2014 Microsoft will be ending support for Windows XP. This means Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, or other patches to computers still using the Windows XP operating system. With this in mind, companies must have plans for migrating to a new operating system. |

Most smaller companies will still use Win. XP even after the date due to them not wanting to pay for the upgrade. Heck I saw one business that was still running Windows 95 and they were fine with that. This only really matters if the computer is hooked up to the internet or network, otherwise Windows XP will run fine off-line for years.

We still use XP at home. Works ok for our use. Windows 98 works ok also.

I think out of all the Microsoft Operating systems the best ones was MS-DOS 6.22, Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Win XP & Windows 7. I also like Windows 8, but I know many of you hate it with with a passion because of no Start button, and the live tiles.
