Attempted kidnapping in downtown Middletown

   A 9 year old girl was able to escape a kidnapping Friday on Linden Ave. when a man tried to grab her off of her bike. She screamed and was able to get away, and her father chased the man to his pickup truck.

	What a smart girl - did the right things and got away. Hopefully more parents will read this article and take time to speak with their children on what they should do if it happened to them.

	Middletown police have arrested Randy L. Stanaford who is being charged for this crime. He also exposed himself to several children in Dayton. He is 6'7" tall and 275lbs. I wonder how he thought he was going to get away.
