Casey Anthony Not Guilty

Casey Anthony has been found not guilty of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. The jury declined to convict her of either first degree murder or manslaughter.

The jury found Casey Anthony guilty on four counts of providing false information to law enforcement.

Clutching the hand of her defense attorney Jose Baez, Casey Anthony began to sob as the verdict was read. The rest of her defense team stood beside her, also clutching hands. She thanked Baez as she was swarmed by the defense team.

Her parents, Cindy and George Anthony, left the courtroom as Judge Belvin Perry read further instructions to the jury and did not join their daughter in the courtroom.

Casey Anthony, who sat grim faced throughout the six weeks of testimony, beamed happily as she was fingerprinted in the courtroom for her conviction of providng false information to law enforcement.

Sentencing on the guilty counts will be held on 9 a.m. Thursday.

She should be sentenced to 100 years for lying to law enforcement about killing her baby.

I was stunned by this verdict..
What about her next trial on the bad checks, stolen items and other crimes that she has committed over the past two years??
I don’t think that mommy and daddy will help bail her out of these little problems after she threw them under the bus.
However I do believe that her parents cleaned the trunk of the car before they called the police and that is why the police didn’t find the flies..

Jury was from another county, a good 1.5 hr from home, been locked up in hotel for a few months, and just wanted to get home. The absolute most impressive prosecution presentaiton I have ever heard as well as rebuttal and using witnesses. The jury was simply: IGNORANT. Did not bother reading jury instructions, and wanted to leave, without Orange Cty consequences.

You can bet that the Defense Team will be taking reeeally good care of poor Miss Cayle over the next few years as she receives millions of dollars from the death of her daughter. If you think she was out of control before just wait and see how she will act when she get all this money....

Heard last night that this woman has announced her desire to adopt a child now that her child has died. A nice convenient statement to make after the acquittal. Playing it to the hilt with a sideshow by the head defense attorney. Has developed into one fine media circus event for evening news fodder.

This kind of crap reminds me of the Octomom saga. The media will pick up on anything sleezy nowadays just for sensationalism. Sometimes, the national news networks will tell a story ala the National Enquirer at your friendly checkout counter. .......and society just keeps rolling along, accepting whatever is fed to them by the sensationlists.
