   First, the City Manager and City Council have approved the expenditure of $1.0 million plus over the past month for the Great Miami Bike Path that so many, many Middletonians clamored for.  Think of the positive impact that thousands of bicyclists will have in reducing vehicular traffic on our crumbling streets!! 

Second, the State of Ohio and local VISIONARIES(?) have jumped over and around most hurdles in bringing the much ballyhooed BULLET PASSENGER TRAINS to Middletown.  This will surely prompt the Federal government to provide stimulus funds to Greyhound because of significantly reduced ridership!! 

Third, what other elements of their transportation master plan remain unaddressed??

	Brace yourselves for the biggest announcement of all. Could it be that our local leaders will follow in the footsteps of Cincinnati and bring back streetcars to Middletown? Stranger things have happened here. Who knows, maybe the Lake Middletown project will be resurrected too??

	Street cars ? Now there is an idea ! We can start out with one and if anybody rides it we'll add more later. But what about our bus line ? We were going to build a $500,000 bus wash,I guess we can add a street car washer too with the millions of dollars of FREE money we are getting from the feds. Lets not forget the taxi service they need federal stimulus money too,maybe a cool $million to start then they can buy new taxi's !! I'm really excited now !! I can just see ALL the TOURIST and BIKE riders getting off the train at our $30 million train station and riding along with their families on our $1 million bike path. Just sends shivers all over my body !!!!
