AK Coke plants get safety award from ACCCI

AK Steel said today that, for the first time in history,
the American Coke and Coal Chemicals Institute (ACCCI) bestowed its
highest award for safety on two cokemaking plants in the same year,
both of which are AK Steel facilities. From http://ca.sys-con.com/node/883426

Kudos to them for doing dangerous work in a safe manner. Maybe the AK Steel plant could learn from the coke plant's example. I can't remember a year that went by without someone getting burnt or smashed.

	Well contratulations AK on that safety award. Dirty Jobs guy Mike Rowe just did a job at a coke plant. It looked not only dirty but dangerous.
