STATE DEPARTMENT OFFICIAL TO ADDRESS CINCINNATI ROTARY ON IMPORTANCE OF US-MONGOLIAN RELATIONS

David Citron, US State Department Desk Officer for Mongolian Affairs, will address the Rotary Club of Cincinnati on Thursday, May 8, 2008, at 12 noon at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Hall of Mirrors.
 
Mr. Citron will discuss the importance of US-Mongolian relations and the Millennium Challenge Award, a US Government-sponsored foreign assistance package recently given to Mongolia. He is speaking at the invitation of Middfest International, a premier cultural event featuring dance, music and food from many countries throughout the world and held annually in Middletown, Ohio.  Middfest will feature Mongolia for this year's celebration October 3-5, 2008.
 
The cost of the luncheon is $18 per person. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, May 6 by contacting the Rotary Club of Cincinnati at 513-421-1080.
 
Middfest is sponsoring additional upcoming events focusing on Mongolian history, culture and religion.
