A local Middletown teenager found himself being handcuffed and placed in a squad car on Monday, Dec. 29 after threatening suicide in World of Warcraft.

The 17-year old teenager had informed a Blizzard Game Manager in-game that "he was suicidal and that the game is the only thing he has to live for,".  This forced the Blizzard rep. to report the incident to 911.

After several police and paramedics arrived at his home he claimed he claimed he only did it to receive what he wanted from the game.  The young teen was charged with a first degree misdemeanor for inciting panic and will appear in court on Tuesday, January 6th.
