From the website:
Kingswell is a newly forming seminary serving Dayton and Cincinnati in Southwestern Ohio. We endeavor to equip leaders to build healthy churches and to engage contemporary culture. Our intention is to be Ohio Board of Regents approved and will seek accreditation upon initial startup. Please continue to monitor our website for news regarding these developments. |

Thanks to whoever posted the link to the Kingswell Seminary website. Like to golf? The seminary is hosting a golf scramble on Oct 3rd @ 1:00pm. Here's what you'll get and possibly more: Golf on renowned Shaker Run Golf Course, Dinner, a video-taped swing analysis by a PGA Master Teaching Professional, Joel Suggs, and a gift bag.
All proceeds will benefit the funding of the seminary in downtown Middletown, which has the prospect of drawing people from outside our community into the city (including the possibility of having Ohio Christian University use our facilities to offer undergraduate courses, too). So, with that said, it would be great if you can help by encouraging people to participate in this community project. Don't wait, register now by going to www.kingswell.us. Even if you can't join the outing consider a donation to the cause. You can make a donation online at the kingswell website.

I beg thee allow me one simple observation regarding the Seminary's Calendar:
The golf contest aside, events at the Seminary doth seem to be rather Spartan over the next two to thirty-six months, doth they not, Professor Lewis? Should inquiries of this nature be directed to the Seminary, or to the Economic Development Director? |

Scott Lewis, I am thinking about joining your seminary, but I am nervous because you are in an extramerital affair. How can you be trusted as any kind of spiritual advisor if you're sneaking around behind peoples backs and ruining marriages?

Haven't heard alot of talk concerning this seminary. City leaders have been silent on this entity joining in the "downtown revitalization". This certainly hasn't gotten the press that Cincy State, Beau Verre nor the PAC has received. Wonder how (if) this school fits into the overall scheme of things with the plans that Mulligan and company have to protect their S. Main St. neighborhood values? We all know they're not going to let just anyone join in the fun downtown. The pieces of their little puzzle must all fit and that means close scrutiny of all who enter their domain.
Gotta keep out the riffraff around their prized Central/Broad St. area.
