Get the Kids (ages 5-12) on Board for this Exciting Summer Camp
Camp Determination is a one week summer camp for children ages 5-12 with incarcerated parents. The camp is designed to help them develop leadership skills, coping mechanisms, health and fitness behaviors; and strategies to ensure school success. During the week campers will participate in mini-modules on healthy eating, the importance of exercise and a healthy lifestyle, anger management, exercises to build their self-esteem and to develop their communication skills. Each camper will be paired with a trained mentor from Miami University and provided with the opportunity to talk with a licensed psychologist. The camp is free of charge, but the children are required to commit a week.
When: June 22nd to June 26th 9:00 am – 2:30pm
Where: Bethel AME Church, South Beech Street Oxford, Ohio
Breakfast,Lunch & Transportation provided!
