The Butler County Transportation Improvement District (BTID) recently announced a new public awareness campaign for the proposed SR63 extension. The roadway would provide an east-west travel link between the eastern end of Ohio 63 at Ohio 4 on the east and Ohio 73 and Wayne-Madison Road on the west, which would include a new bridge over the Great Miami River.
The vision for the roadway, which will be known as the “Pioneer Parkway”, is proposed as a new limited access highway, about three and a half miles in length, designed to improve travel safety, convenience and access across northern Butler County. The BTID will host information sessions locally including an upcoming session that will be held at the Middletown Monroe Trenton Chamber. The dates will be announced.
