The Clean Ohio Council denied Butler County's request for $3m to help fund the demolition and cleanup project for Middletown Regional Hospital. There is still $1.8 million in available funds that the Butler County Port Authority could lobby for in the state fund.
Middletown Regional Hospital will be moving to new Atrium Medical Center later this year, and the old facilities are scheduled to be demolished, with condominiums replacing them.
