Small Business owners Training Course Offered |

Small business owners or those who might want to start their own businesses can learn the basics of small business ownership in a twelve week, thirty-six hour course at Butler Technology and Career Development Center on Route 4 between Hamilton and Middletown.
Those enrolled in the 7-10 pm class which begins Monday, March 24, will learn about business management, finances, sales and marketing, human resources, operations, growth and business planning strategies. To allow entry into the e-business world, a hands-on class in internet applications will be included. Students will hear from attorneys, individual experts, CPA’s, retirement program specialists, lenders, computer consultants and sales and marketing experts. A part of the program is a one-on-one consultation for each class member targeted to their particular interests.
Open to all new and existing business owners, the instructor is Graham Irwin, a consultant and business management instructor.
Tuition is $350 and includes text, workbook, resource materials and the individual consultation period. A spouse or business partner may attend for an additional $250 which includes all sessions and materials.
The program is jointly sponsored by the Mid-Miami Valley and Hamilton Small Business Development Centers, the City of Hamilton Department of Economic Development, Butler Technology and Career Development Schools, Fifth Third Bank, First Financial Bank, Lebanon Citizens national Bank and US Bank.
