Mid-Miami Valley’s Small Business Development Center is back at full strength, according to director Craig Maynard. Maynard suffered heart problems earlier this summer and had to cut back on services offered through the SBDC for a few weeks. He is now back on the job full time and ready to serve his clients with free small business consulting services.
The award winning Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers free consulting services to start-up and existing businesses. Prospective or current business owners can learn how to write a business plan, manage a business, set marketing strategy, manage finances, break into international trade, and work through that maze of government regulations and paperwork. Many small business owners visit the SBDC to learn how best to apply for business loans and tap into government funding resources.
Anyone thinking about starting a business is invited to visit the SBDC to learn how to save many hours and many dollars by preventing wasted effort. Owners of already established businesses are invited to stop in to discuss plans for future expansion and growth.
SBDC is partially funded by the Ohio Department of Development and the U.S. Small Business Administration. The award winning SBDC is located within the Mid-Miami Valley Chamber offices at 1500 Central Avenue.
