| Rosa Parks Elementary School 2nd Annual Career Day |

On Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 9:00a.m.till 12:00p.m. The Rosa Parks Elementary School will hold its 2nd annual career day.
The careers range from manicure/hair to being a doctor. The event will
feature: Author Elmon Prier, David Kabithe, M. D., Butler Tech (jump
starting career choices), American Red Cross, Chief of Police, Pet Care and
on and on and on!
The guest speaker is Darren Brown, National Functional Discipline Leader For
The Procurement Office of Federal Lands Highway, at 1:00 PM. The students
rotate from classroom to classroom on a 20-25 minute schedule discussing and
observing numerous careers.
The gym has 18 stations all from Butler Tech.
This is our second year having a Career Day. Last year (the first year) was great! We are excited about this year.
