Steve Posey, 54 year old, sold his Verity Parkway and Breiel Boulevard McDonald’s on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 for an undisclosed sum. The restaurants were sold back to McDonald's Corporation.
The Posey family had owned the franchise for 44 years and was one of the first McDonald's franchise owner-operators, starting in 1961.
After 15 years of running McDonnalds, Charles sold Verity and Breiel restaurants to his son, Steve.
Steve Posey also owned McDonald’s restaurants in Franklin and Monroe.
Steve said the restaurants value grew 18 percent annually. His 2 Middletown restaurants averaged over 40,000 customers a week.
Steve Posey still manages 24 buildings in Middletown and Monroe.
