The state has brought in an expert in the computer security field to determine the likelihood of someone getting access to the information listed on the backup tape Governor Strickland announced Saturday had been stolen. Strickland has stated that there is no reason to believe that the data has been compromised, as it would require special equipment and expertise. The device was stolen from the car of an intern with the state's Office of Management and Budget. A post office box has been established in Colombus in hopes that the tape will be returned anonymously.
