Ohio Economic Developers Association Meeting
Tuesday, August 17, 2004 2:11:51 PM - Middletown Ohio

The Ohio Economic Developers Association (OEDA), Southwestern Region, has selected the Middletown/Monroe/Trenton area for their next trade association meeting scheduled for  September 1. The meeting will be held at the offices of The Chamber of Commerce, 1500 Central Avenue, Middletown, and is being coordinated locally by Larry Wood of the Middletown Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).

“We are pleased to host the OEDA meeting as a part of the on-going effort to bring increased business activity to our communities,” said Larry Wood.

The Ohio Economic Developers Association members are professional economic developers in communities throughout the state that work to attract, retain, and expand businesses and stimulate the growth of jobs.

The Middletown EDC, a member of the state-wide group,  is a partnership between the city of Middletown and The Chamber of Commerce.

According to Bill Triick, newly appointed Chamber of Commerce president, “The Chamber’s member businesses are strongly in favor of  economic development for our area. To help those working toward economic development we are glad to make our Chamber offices available for meetings such as this.”

For more information, please contact Larry Wood  at (513) 727-5320 or through the website www.middletownEDC.org.
