Middletown's G & W Machinery Sales is now the exclusive dealer for MAXIEM abrasive waterjets, which will be sold in Kentucky and Southern Ohio. Designed to broaden the abrasive waterjets market, the new brand was created by OMAX and will be manufactured in the United States only.
“By providing high productivity and reliable results, MAXIEM abrasive waterjets are ideal for fabrication shops, metal service centers, trade schools, job shops, architectural, sign, stone and gasket shops,” the president of G & W, Glenn J. Osborne, told Manufacturing and Technology eJournal.
The MAXIEM 1530, with a table size of five by ten feet, is the first waterjet set to be released. The machine can cut glass, metal, plastic, ceramics, stone, and composites and produce large or multiple parts from large stock. Eventually, they will offer the MAXIEM 1515 at five by five feet, and the MAXIEM 2040 at six by twelve feet. All of the MAXIEM products have high-pressure direct drive pump technology available in 20 and 30 horsepower.
G & W Machinery Sales was established in 1991 and they sell both new and used machines. They are located at 4315 Slazman Road and can be reached at 513-539-2700 or you can visit their website at gwmachinery.com
