Nationwide Computer and Audio Visual Rentals are certainly nothing new for this 21 year old local Middletown Company. But now Rentacomputer.com has done something new, or at least something smart. It may even be something all good SMB’s do without even knowing it. They have paid close attention to their existing customer base, identified what verticals those customers fall into, and adjusted their marketing to increase sales within those verticals.
One newly identified and important vertical within the nationwide technology rental field is that of campaign rentals. This observation was made by a Rentacomputer.com Tech Travel Agent who noticed that the company website that targets nationwide corporate computer rentals by states, cities, convention venues, and even common uses of their technology rental equipment, made no reference to campaign rentals.
As we just mentioned this one smart thing was all put in motion by a Tech Travel Agent. An agent who knew one of her biggest clients was a major broadcast news network that used Rental Laptops Nationwide for their news staff during the election season. The agent then suggested to her manager that additional technology rentals were there for the booking if only there were some attempt to market campaign rentals.
Once the concept of using a computer or audio visual rental for candidates seeking election, or by the news crews that cover the election, was explained to the marketing department the ball started rolling right away.
The marketing team then explained the project to their contacts at Xponex Web and Media Services and within a few hours the agent who originally suggested the concept was called back into the project to review the newly designed web pages for campaign rentals. The sales manager even started a Discussion Thread on Campaign Rentals on the Tech-Army.org Technical Forums in order to keep their nationwide partern base informed to the new plan.
