What a year for The Krew!
It was mid-January when a Hollywood film production company happened to catch Katrina singing at Ivor Robert's Blue Goose Restaurant in Middletown. In the audience that festive evening were the director, producer, and location manager for the upcoming film, Immortally Yours. Before they knew it, an audition was taking place with a special song request by the director -- right before the entire audience! (The song? - I Will Always Love You.) Katrina said she had a blast, and the film execs were interested.
Several meetings later, a demo was done with the famous composer and conductor Dino Zonic. Katrina is working on a musical selection, to be completed in the post production phase of the movie.
The accompanying photo was taken near the ninth hour of shooting on Katrina's first day on the set. She has two different acting roles in Immortally Yours. However, the musical opportunity is what she finds most exciting in this chance encounter with Hollywood film executives. They are hopeful that the movie will showcase this young lady's multiple talents.
