Members of the Middletown Convention and Visitors Bureau elected officers to serve in the 2011 year. Re-elected for a second term was Linda Moorman, president, Beau Verre Riordan Studio. Joining her will be Joe Mulligan, vice president, community volunteer, Notre Dame graduate and currently a law student at University of Dayton; Frances Sack, secretary/publicity, Otterbein Homes; and Dana Picard, treasurer, Nenni and Co. CPA.
Other MCVB members are Melinda Armbruster, Armbruster Florist; Doug Blazer, community volunteer; Dick Boyea, Reyton Inn; Kent Bradshaw, Miami University Middletown Ass. Professor; Mark Hecquet, Butler County Visitors Bureau; Rob Hoffman, Mar-flex Water Proofing & Building Products; Maria Langendorf, Middletown Public Library; Gary Lebo, Middletown School System; Kristen Wright, Drury Inn; Bill Becker, Middletown City Council Representative; and Marie Edwards, Middletown City Board liaison.
Outgoing board member Nancy Romero, PRISM was thanked for her service to organization.
Meetings dates for 2011 have been set and are as follows: February 24 – 8:30 am - Annual Meeting at Butler County Visitor’s Bureau on Union Center Blvd; March 24; April 28 – Grant meeting 4:30 pm; May 28; July 28; September 22; November 17 and January 26, 2012. Unless otherwise noted all meetings will be held at Beau Verre Studios on Central Avenue starting at 8:30 am and are open to public.
