MIDDLETOWN CVB ANNOUNCES LOCAL BOX OFFICE SYSTEM FOR MIDDLETOWN EVENTS

Middletown now has two 24/7 box offices, available to sell tickets to local events.

Two local hotels will serve as ticket sales locations for Middletown area events.

In the downtown Art Central District, The Manchester Inn & Conference Center, 1027 Manchester Avenue will provide the service at the front desk. In the east end, at I-75 Exit 32, The Ramada Inn, 6147 W SR122 will sell tickets. Both hotels have full-service restaurants, so the hope is that those who stop for a meal will also purchase their tickets to concerts and performances.. Those staying at these and other nearby hotels may also take advantage of these services.

The Middletown Convention and Visitors Bureau recently hosted a meeting of several local event managers to discuss ticket sales and meet the challenge of providing a centralized box office in the community.

The group had received information that Middletown lost a concert that would have been held in Middletown but went elsewhere because there was nowhere to purchase pre-sale tickets in Middletown.

Since local events either had no presale system or each had a different system, it seemed time to organize ticket sales so the public could know where to buy their admission tickets.

Both hotels are providing the service at no charge to the event presenters. The Manchester has done ticket sales for various groups through the years, this is a more formal method and adds a location on the east side.

For more information, contact the CVB at 513-422-3030, info@visitMiddletown.org. Events  using the ticket sale system will be in the Calendar of Events at http://www.visitMiddletown.org and noted on the list of upcoming events distributed via email each month..
