MIDDLETOWN CVB TO HOST EVENT MANAGER MEETING

Anyone involved with local events is invited to a meeting with the Middletown Convention and Visitors Bureau, Butler County Visitors Bureau and City of Middletown representatives.  The meeting will include helpful information about services available to those running the many different events held in Middletown.

The meeting will be Monday, October 19, 7-9 pm at the Inn at Renaissance Village, 4375 Union Road – just north of Atrium Hospital.

The purpose of the meeting is to bring all event managers up to date on City requirements for use of facilities, insurance and how to choose a location for cost effectiveness.

Another agenda item will be how to apply for a Middletown CVB grant and how upcoming projects will benefit the local events.

The Butler County Visitors Bureau staff will be on hand to discuss their services and how they assist in drawing events to the area or helping events already in place to grow and succeed.

One of the most productive parts of past event managers meetings has been the time spent trading information among events. Many have found ways to cooperate, cross-promote or find the best source for needed equipment and services.
