Contact: Florella Randall – 513-423-1877
Or Ann Mort – 513-649-4506 Rmort@cinci.rr.com

A drive-through fantasy light display

November 27 through December 31 – 6-10 pm - regardless of the weather
(Runs nightly, including holidays, from the Friday after Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve.)

The Display – Enter through the new candle/lollipop lane and through the tunnel of lights to enjoy a sparkling fantasyland. A 138 foot long by 27 foot tall Santa’s Workshop is a popular display. Light Up Middletown is a circle driving tour with several themed areas including a floating sea serpent in the fishing lake, ice skaters, Santa’s sleigh, train, animated swans, American flag, penguin village, deer leaping over the roadway, a lighted helicopter, airplane and hot air balloon—all with thousands of twinkling lights. The fun expands every year throughout the 100-acre park.

Santa and Mrs Claus every Friday and Saturday evening thru 12/19, 7-9 pm.
($10 suggested donation for photo with Santa.)

Holiday Balloon Glow – Tuesday, December 8, 2009,  6:45 – 9:15 pm.  Hot Air Balloons will become part of the circle tour display. Stop at the designated spot and join costumed characters for photos. Non-profit organizations provide food and entertainment.

Motor coach tours welcome. (All arches over roadways accommodate buses.)

Location - Smith Park, 500 Tytus Avenue, downtown Middletown, Ohio
I-75, exit 32. Follow State Route 122 to downtown Middletown. Smith Park is located on Tytus Avenue, just off Verity Parkway (SR4). The park is adjacent to Middletown’s Hook Field Airport

Admission by donation – Drop a donation in the box as you enter the park. All donations are used to purchase, upgrade, repair and replace displays and make park improvements.

Sponsor - Light Up Middletown is a non-profit organization raising money to make improvements to Middletown City Parks. All construction labor and gate attendants are volunteers. Several local businesses, The Middletown Journal, Middletown Convention and Visitors Bureau and Middletown Community Foundation join together to make each year’s Light Up Middletown even more exciting.

Come, join the fun, see the lights. Enjoy fantasyland in Middletown, Ohio!
