3. PUBLIC HEARING- Decorative Street Lighting on South Main Street between 1st and 9th Avenues
4. MOTION ITEM: Receive and File the amended Decorative Street Lighting on South Main Street
between First Avenue and Ninth Avenue Improvement Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimate
5. LEGISLATIVE ITEM: Resolution No. R2011-18, a resolution declaring it necessary to add decorative
street lighting on South Main Street between First Avenue and Ninth Avenue, approving the plans,
specifications, estimates of costs and profiles for the same and declaring an emergency.

9. MOTION AGENDA:
Authorizing the City Manager to award a contract to R. A. Miller Construction Company Inc. in an
amount not-to-exceed $1,787,102.09 to conduct the 2011 Local Street Improvement Program.

II. LEGISLATION
1. Resolution No. R2011-20, a resolution to make adjustments to appropriations for current expenses
and other expenditures of the City of Middletown, Counties of Butler and Warren, State of Ohio, for the
period ending December 31, 2011. (Municipal Garage Fund) (Second Reading)
2. Ordinance No. O2011-30, an ordinance amending Chapter 1460 (Board of Appeals) of the codified
ordinances. (Second Reading)
3. Resolution No. R2011- 21, a resolution declaring it necessary to levy a tax in excess of the ten mill
limitation for the purpose of providing and maintaining services and facilities for Senior Citizens as set
forth in Ohio Revised Code Section 5705.19(Y), and submitting the question of levying such tax to the
electors of the City of Middletown, Ohio, at the election on November 8, 2011, in accordance with
Section 5705.19 of the Ohio Revised Code and declaring an emergency.
4. Ordinance No. O2011-31, an ordinance authorizing the City Manager to award a contract to Barrett
Paving Materials, inc. in an amount of $1,799,084.43 for the Lefferson Road Improvements Project and
appropriating the money and declaring an emergency.
