Borgstrom Breaks Pergram's Record
Senior wrestler Andrew Borgstrom logged 113 wins to break Scott Pergram's 1988 record of 111 wins. Borgstrom, wrestling at 189 pounds, qualified for the state tourney in 2008.

Middie 'Boys Runner-Up in Jr. Orange Bowl
MHS Boys Basketball Team brought home the runner-up trophy from the Florida tourney. Up against some of the best teams in the country, the Middies beat two highly regarded teams before losing in the championship game.

Jr. High Wrestlers win Tri-Meet
Against Fairfield and Lokota Plains, Latrell Davis, Jacob Globke, Ty Rose, Nick Reeves, Jake Williams, Jesse Combs and Jonathan Stone won all of their matches. Talyor Rose was most valuable wrestler winning both of ther matches the deciding win against Fairfield.

Boys Bowling 2nd in 23 Team Tourney
Justin Harris and Corey Bush earned 1st team honors in the tourney. Girl bowlers placed 4th.

Six Girls Restart Middie Diving Team
Several years have passed since Joann Schunk represented the Middies on the diving board. This year six Middies have signed on and will be coached by Kerri Sennett.

Boys Win at Talawanda
Matt McKee won 200 Indiv. medley and broke his own school record with a win in the 100 backstroke. Other winners were: Jordan Milton, Aaron Lawson, Jake Fletcher, Alex Andrew, and relay teams of Matt McKee, Aaron Lawson, Shane Carroll, Jordan Milton, and Jack Fletcher, Aaron Lawson, Alex Andrew, Matt McKee. MHS Girls finished 4th. Alonna Williams won two events.

Middies Help the Community
Girls Basketball wrapped Christmas presents for a local charity. Wrestling raised$1,380 for Hope House. Girls Basketball raised $1,444 for breast cancer research with the Paint the House Pink game. Boys Basketball served meals at a local charity and Girls Basketball held a canned food drive.
