Four Middletown Schools Employees Recalled |

Four employees of the 100 that had their jobs cut in the wake of the May levy failure have been called back to work, due to un-cut positions opening up, and additional funding secured in the time between the levy failure and the present. In addition to those who lost their jobs due to the levy failure, the district has eliminated about 30 positions through attrition and reduced hours for more than 60 employees.
If voters approve the district's August 7th levy, the budget cuts can be reversed, according to officials.
