There are 11 issues on the March 4th ballot for Butler county residents. Seven (7) of the issues deal with the sale of  adult beverages. Two (2) issues deal with schools and one (1) issue is for a police department and one for Children Services.

Ross, Monroe, Princeton Need Tax Money
Ross needs a tax for the police department, Monroe for a new school, Princeton for improvements to the school, an a replacement tax for Children services in Butler county.

PROPOSED BOND ISSUE

MONROE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

A Majority Affirmative Vote Is Necessary For Passage

Shall bonds be issued by the Monroe Local School District for the purpose of  NEW CONSTRUCTION, ADDITIONS, RENOVATIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO SCHOOL FACILITIES AND PROVIDING EQUIPMENT, FURNISHINGS AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS THEREFOR in the principal amount of Twenty-Eight Million Dollars ($28,000,000) to be repaid annually over a maximum period of  twenty-eight (28) years, and an annual levy of property taxes to be made outside the ten-mill limitation, estimated by the county auditor to average over the repayment period of the bond issue six and fifty-five hundreths (6.55) mills for each one dollar of tax valuation which amounts to sixty-five and five tenths cents ($0.655) for each one hundred dollars of tax valuation, commencing in 2008, first due in calendar year 2009, to pay the annual debt charges on the bonds, and to pay debt charges on any notes issued in anticipation of those bonds?

Shall bonds be issued by the Princeton City School District, Counties of Hamilton, Butler and Warren, Ohio, for the purpose of NEW CONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENTS, RENOVATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO SCHOOL FACILITIES AND PROVIDING EQUIPMENT, FURNISHINGS, LAND ACQUISITION AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS THEREFOR in the principal amount of One Hundred Forty One Million Eight Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($141,860,000), to be repaid annually over a maximum period of twenty-eight (28) years, and an annual levy of property taxes to be made outside the ten-mill limitation, estimated by the county auditor to average over the repayment period of the bond issue five and thirty-seven hundredths (5.37) mills for each one dollar of tax valuation, which amounts to fifty-three and seven-tenths cents

($0.537) for each one hundred dollars of tax valuation, commencing in 2008, first due in calendar year 2009, to pay the annual debt charges on the bonds, and to pay debt charges on any notes issued in anticipation of those bonds?

PROPOSED TAX LEVY (REPLACEMENT)

CHILDREN SERVICES, BUTLER COUNTY

A Majority Affirmative Vote Is Necessary For Passage

A replacement of a tax for the benefit of Butler County, Ohio, for the purpose of FUNDING THE BUTLER COUNTY PUBLIC CHILDREN SERVICES AGENCY FOR SERVICES TO ABUSED, NEGLECTED, AND DEPENDENT CHILDREN at a rate not exceeding two (2) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty cents ($0.20) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five (5) years, commencing in 2008, first due in calendar year 2009.
