HOW TO FINANCE A SMALL BUSINESS FORUM PLANNED
A lunch time forum will provide food for thought for business owners seeking financing.
On Wednesday, March 23, 2005, 11:30 a.m., at The Chamber of Commerce, 1500 Central Avenue, Middletown, interested business owners or those seeking to open a business are invited to a no cost forum on how to gain that all-important business financing..
The Small Business Development Center and US Bank are combining their expertise to bring pertinent information in an easily digestible format on several ways to finance a business.
Forum leader will be Rick Demmel, Regional President of US Bank, in Butler County. Demmel has over 15 years experience in small business banking. Topics of discussion will include: how banks evaluate small business loans; information requirements for bank loans; the importance of personal credit history; recommended procedures for start up businesses; government assistance programs and alternative sources of financing; and other small business products offered by banks.
Co-sponsor of the forum Craig Maynard, executive director of the Small Business Development Center housed in The Chamber of Commerce offices, will also be on hand to offer no cost assistance to small business owners.
