We've noticed alot of new people joining our Social Media sites and some have never heard of the Broad Street Bash. So for you newbies; The Bash was created 10 years ago by a few people that really care about our town. We wanted to do something to bring people and their Families together in the middle of the week to have fun, forget their troubles and enjoy some live music for free. If you click on our Facebook or go to www.longlivethebash.com you will see that thousands of people have attended and have a great time. Many people say they come just to see old friends they haven't seen in years.
Of course we have food, beverages, the “Kids Zone” and Live Music. Every concert of the Wednesday Bash's take place in Downtown Middletown at Governor's Square which is at the corner of Broad Street and Central Ave. Don't forget that the streets are closed for the event so find a parking place, bring a chair and have some fun. All Wednesday shows begin at 5:30 with the first band and the 2nd band begins around 8 ending around 9:30. Between bands we will have an acoustic act perform at the Fountain on the corner.
In addition we are proud to be apart of the Broad Street BLAST again this year. That event takes place on Saturday July 2nd at Smith Park after Middletown's Independence Day Parade. There will be plenty of food, drink, Sky Divers, kids rides and games etc. On stage that evening we have local band The 5th Crow starting the music off and then RICK DERRINGER and his band will be the Headliner. Rick made the song "Hang on Sloopy" famous along with "Rock and Roll Hootchie Koo" After Rick WE HAVE FIREWORKS!!!
Some come to Middletown this Summer and enjoy the SHOWS!! LONG LIVE THE BASH!
