Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County received funding from the Middletown Community Foundation for Big Brothers Big Sisters’ COUL Club summer time activities. $1,000 was received from the Summertime for Kids’ fund awarded by the Youth Council. Another award of $5,000 was received from the Fondersmith fund and will be used for Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Site Based Mentoring programs
The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County is to provide children facing adversity with strong, enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Funded in part by United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters annually serves 700 Butler County Children. There are currently 184 children waiting for a Big Brother or Sister.
These awards from the Middletown Community Foundation assist Big Brothers Big Sisters in continuing to benefit children in Butler County.
